Need some help

Way back in 1981 to 1985 I watched a cartoon. It was on VHS and I remember very little. It was about a teenage man who worked in a book store. He was visited by a wizard who needed his help. They fell through time on six sided dice. When they arrived he had transformed into a dragon. He was taught how to be a dragon and then they proceeded to save the world. Any idea what this was called?

Update: I've got great friends. The movie is Flight of Dragons won it off of ebay on a region free DVD. Woo!

Flight of Dragons. Harry Morgan did the voice of the green wizard guy (also played Col. Sherman T. Potter in M*A*S*H as well as had a cameo as Brig. Gen. Steele in an earlier episode).

ahhh yes. sir peeter, gorbash ozmodon the red wizzard brieag, the red wizzards dragon. the rest of the names excape me at the moment but i love that movie. i wish i could find one myself or get a copy
