Well we put in an offer on a house on NE 47th off of Killingsworth. Bunny and I home owners?? The cool part is that it's partly unfinished, but it's mostly all cosmetic. The things that are more than cosmetic (the bathroom down stairs) we can really make the way we would like to. Well no more until we see what happens with the offer. Counting, hatching and all....

All of this after doubting myself and what I did. Go figure.

Wow!

I hope that you get the offer that you did then! Sounds like a good home and I like the partly unfinished ones.. if you need any home inprovment tips I can give you a few... have done lots of it before.

Here is to raise a glass to being homeowners!

Thank you!

I'll be holding off on the glass raising until they accept our offer. At that point it's just a mater of time before we move in and make a go of it. Thank you for your offer of help improving things. Bunny and I are very familiar with fixing up houses, but always are looking for advice. We are looking forward to making the house ours by our customizations. That's what drew us to the house.

Good luck

Well I hpe they accept and that you get it. Owning a home is both a joy and a major pain somedays, but I think that you and Bunny will really love it. If you need help or tools in doing the remodel please feel free to ask as I still have all the stuff I used to remodel my house, well remodeling as it is a work in progress :)

Thank you!

Bunny and I know quite a bit about fixing up a house, so we'll not be recruiting anyone for labor (besides the good pizza and good beer adds up }:-) So you have any cool tools that are not common? For example Brian and I bought a dolly and it sits doing nothing until we help people move or move our selves.

Well I have a miter power saw, rotary cutting saw, sawsall, and a few other carpentry tools that have not gotten much use, but they are great for working on older houses..especially ones with lathe and plaster. When was this house built? Mine was built in 1909 and it really showed when I went and redid all the electrical wiring. BTW, how big is it?
