Who were your childhood heroes? I can answer that. In order it was Ziggy, Opus, and hawk woman on the he-man cartoon. I really saw myself as completely unsure of my self and every thing bad that can go on in life would happen to me. For a time I was thinking of changing my name to Ziggy Ziggy. I was a shy kid with no friends and would rather read a book, or go for a walk alone in the woods. I still think I'm that same kid. I think I might be completely wrong about myself. Could it be that I'm an outgoing, social, adventurance person who wants to love everyone? Some times I've been like that. I've acted on stage. I love to give presentations. I've had two separate teachers in collage tell me I would make a good teacher, even though I've never said anything about being a teacher.

Now to make my heart feel and my soul believe what I logically know to be true in my mind.

There's the rub.

Childhood heros!
1) Sgt. Slaughter
2) Optimus Prime
3) Snake Eye
4) Panthro
5) Ninjas!

Well, maybe you've just come out of your shell. I've been a consealed artist for a long time and I only recently started getting out there and showing my stuff off. And I love it! I'm now an official attention whore! :P If you love acting in front of folks and you give good presentations, then you probably ARE teacher material. I know I still cheese up in front of groups so I can't do that myself.

Ah yes, Optimus Prime. none of the transformers really called out to me, and the ones who did died in the first five minutes of The Movie... talk about being tragic for kids. I really effected my brother, my cousin and myself.

Oh, and you are a very good artist and I can't wait to see what you do next, and how great it your art will be in a year! It's great now, but legendary comes next. }:-)

Legendary? Phhh, not I. I'll never catch up to those masters liek Dr. Comet, Karabiner, Max Black Rabbit, Fred Perry, That person that draws Neotopia, Doug Winger, Helena, Kestral Kitsune, that person that does all the avatars for DJCrimsonFox, and so on. I'm just another one of those artists out there that doodles! :)

Hot Rod was also a bad ass when he turned into Rodimus Prime! And yeah, that was the first time I cried at a movie in my life. When Optimus Prime died. I saw it in the theater when it came out and I couldn't believe what I saw. The theater had to mop up the puddle I left behind after I finnished sobbing :P

Don't sell you self short! You are better than most doddlers out there (that sounds naughty...) I was thinking you were more like a Foxxfire. His art started out like yours and simply got better. Yours has been getting better.

I was crying in the movie as well. It was years later me and my brother were talking about it and he pointed out that they kill him off just to sell more toys.... part of me died that day and I came one step closer to being a pessimist.

{giggles} They still have a ways to go.

Mr. Spock! I forgot all about him! I guess that shows how far down Star Trek has moved in my mind. I wanted to be Spock, because I was a smart kid and I did not want any emotions. They were all bad at that time.

Fantasy Heros:

2) Oliver, the kid from Bloom County
3) Beowulf Shaeffer

That was Mrs Limekiller seeing Opus on his first mother quest. They were on the rainbow warrior getting into a raft to stop Russian Whaling ships.

{Sorry, I've read the books so many times I had to use my knowledge about it somewhere}

Your list of heroes stumps me so I'll need to look them up. Well I know about Heinlein and Glen well enough.

Just remember to think of this as a journey. You don't one day figure out "who you are" and "how to be a happy person". It sounds corny, but life on this Earth is a journey, and it only ends when you die. We spend our whole lives discovering and striving to better ourselves. That sounds like what you're doing. In which case I have good news for you: you're living. You're doing it right.
