Well bunny and I are official home owners now. Sunday and Monday was painting, painting, and more painting. I'm very tired. We have before and will post once things have settled a bit. Right now my body aches and I have two more hours of work before heading to the new place to do more work. It just feels good to work on something that has meaning for you.

Congratulations on taking possession, so to speak, of your new home. Yes it is a lot of work and money, but you will find that all the labor really does pay off in the end. I am sure you two will be very very happy in your new den and I look forward to seeing it when it is ready.

Thank you. I'm thinking a slow increase so we can build equity, but slow enough that the taxes will not go up dramatically. Part of what makes the house so great is that the taxes on it are low (comparatively speaking.)

Thank you! I'll need to invite you over for a cigar and scotch. There is a great little nook in the back yard I'll have some chairs setup for this. Also there will be a house warming event TBA.
