Book Recommendations

First off is Ring of Swords by Elanor Arnason. I read this for a second time and it was even better. This is the best first contact story I've ever read. This is a must read on my list. I have a caveat about this book, but that would give away a huge part of the story.
Second is "World War Z" by Max Brooks. I'm late to this, but it's a fantastic read about the world deals with the zombie menace. It's what I've always wondered in Zombie movies... what is happening in the rest of the world.
Lastly is "Execution Channel" by Ken MacLeod. It's a near furture book about the current war in the middle east and where it could go. I'm not going to give away the twist a third of the way in, but damn it's brilliant.
