I like jerky

Really, dried and cured meat is simply yummy. Over the last week I found that a little meat, with a caffeinated beverage makes my mornings so much better. Makes me want to go out and hunt and get my own game. Then the reality of being a 30 year old, out of shape, and gay man hits home. I used to roam around the woods as a keep for hours at a time, but that is so different than spending a few days out in the woods.

Now as you may notice in my icon, I have a deer suit. Why would I want to kill something that I admire and adore? Well, deer are successful, but they are prey. I would be killing and using it's body for meat. I grew up on a cattle farm, and cows make tasty food. Later on in my life, the only meat we had during the winter was elk. Enough about hunting and the ethics of it.

Overall I'm doing much better. Therapy is starting to make progress. I'm finally starting to integrate. The only thing in common with my dispirit interests is me. I am good and bad all at once. Complexity can not be reduced to something simple unless you abstract to 'me'.
