Laundry List

First of all, it's too hot. It's just not been cooling down at night. I can't sleep when it's too hot so I've not gotten enough sleep. No sleep makes for a grumpy dragon.

First off Friday night I played poker at Pet's place (great house!) and won. This was unexpected but I broke the dominance of Katt by beating him on a flush draw by just one rank. I won some money, but that was used up on Saturday.

So waking up late after ending the evening with Misha (she went up the gorge with Blackberry) I went down the home roost and visited my aunts who were all in an accident. A car swerving to miss hitting a semi, who was slamming on his breaks to avoid hitting a car who pulled in front of it to make a right turn, clipped the semi and flew through the air and landed on the top of my Aunt's car. They'll all be ok, but looks like my oldest Aunt will never be all that mobile again. I drove back that night because I'll not spend the night at my parent’s house.

Sunday was an interesting day. Saw Clerks 2... a fantastic movie, and in every way spoke to me and my current situation. It's about 30 year olds dealing with there lives. Guess who's thirty and of the same generation as Kevin Smith? Later that evening the down stairs shower broke. Here is a hint. If the shower leaks and you keep tightening the stem to stop it, you can break the handle and stem and have water gush every where... there was minor flooding of the basement. Oh, an RV shower stall has special parts that are not carried in normal home stores. On top of all of this, I was so tired I washed my phone. It's dead.

So today I got the part for the shower, got a new phone, and attempting to be productive at work. I've not had time to be angsty at all.

Censor??

Well due to a lack of sleep my censor in my head is turned off. I remember growing up that I wanted to be one of the kids on 3-2-1 Contact. I didn't want to be on TV, I wanted to do the interesting things they did. They learned about things and got to do and see things that appeals to the geek in me. Makes me realize why I got into computers and now realize how much I should not of gotten into computers. As a systems administrator I'm asked to set up things that are frankly boring and pedestrian. I kind of feel like Fry from Fururama. In the pilot episode he runs away because he did not want to get assigned as a delevery man. So he runs away only to become a delevery man to other planets and he thinks it's the coolest thing ever.
