Obssession and Relaxation
Jul. 5th, 2006 01:20 pmI relaxed this weekend. Now to do this I blew off two friends. To be more accurate I never sent out emails saying "I can't make those tentative plans." Reading Theodore Sturgeon's 'More Than Human' and 'Venus Plus X" helped put me into that good contemplative mood. Apparently it made me isolationist as well.
So what stupidity I did I get myself into? The silly thing is that I paid bills and can’t send a payment to a friend. You take credit cards?
Oh, any reason why I'm obsessing on getting an Amiga 1200 with 060 accelerator card just so I can watch computer demos (as seen on www.scene.org)? I don't give myself enough time on my computer for any thing else! I hate being a consumer whore, but it does placate my soul.
