When did I stop?

I found a copy of Crono Cross at a used game store on Saturday. I've owned the sound track for a while and love it. The game is not so much fun. I didn't enjoy FF7 or FFX, my interactions seemed to interrupt the cut scenes. I used to think I was a RPG fan, but the last RPG I've played was Might and Magic 4 (I'm not including Diablo in this.) Back then, it was all text descriptions, and some graphics. I guess I thought I still liked the games because I love the music so many others love the games. I was wrong. Makes me wonder what games I do enjoy. The last few games I finished were Tron 2.0, Jax & Daxster, Sly Copper, Ratchet and Clank, Zelda: Windwaker... guess I'm a first person sort of guy... go figure.
