Becoming Ethical
Apr. 12th, 2004 10:51 amGreetings all
Well my good friend John is back in Oklahoma after a great week of him visiting. Friday was driving around Portland and shopping in cool stores. Had lunch at my new favorite restaurant. We shopped at uwajimaya and the Japaneese book store in back. Then we shopped at every day music and along Hawthorne. Then we played board games. My friends Sean and John stopped on by to play. All of them together made for a great night. Bunny's cooking was fantastic as always.
Saturday was up to Seattle and Pike Street Market. We both got ocarinas and bought books at the left hand book store. Then was the Experience Music Project. It was cool and all, but not that much on the experience side. It was cool to see the guitar that Hendrix used to play the national anthem at Woodstock, but the entire place was more like a museum. Then we shopped at Ikea. I had no idea that the Furni joke in fight club was real. Bunny and I bought so many lights, and a new coffee table. I love the names and one is over the top. Sextol is a real thing that you can buy. Then John flew away Sunday morning.
Things for the next time people visit. Need to get yummy food for them to eat when we are away at work (not applicable if you visit over a weekend.)
I also found a book called "The Ethical Slut" It is my first books on ethics I've ever read. It's changing my life. I'm in an open relationship with bunny, but I still get wonkey. This book shows me that there is an ethical ground to stand on, and how to live as an ethical slut. More when I'm done reading it.
