Out of order??

Thursday at the airport heading down to terminal A. This is the terminal for local plains, so it's on ground level. Well the stairs had an out of order sign. I looked as I went down the escalator that is right next to the stairs and saw nothing wrong. Then the next day the stairs were still out of order. When I returned that afternoon, the stairs were working again. I just wonder what can cause stairs to be out of order? A missing tile on the stairs would of taken eight hours at most to set. I'm still left wondering how stairs can be out of order for 36 hours.

Got a cool linux midi program running. It's called Rosegarden and I'm making cool noises. Now for a song. If it can cue and play wave files, I'll work on my project. The techno remix of Orinoco Flow. I've had it in my head for about 7-8 years now.
