Works better now

We are going to spend the money to buy ghost for all of the computers! Woo hoo! That will make my life much, much easier, and I can focus on the bigger things... not installing XP over and over again. I know what you will say. "Why didn't you do a network install with answer file?" That's fine for installation, but ghost does so much more. That with a universal dos networking boot disk and all the tools ghost has, I'm set!

Ghost in the machine ;)

You are gonna love Multicast ghost. It makes deploying new images so much easier, provided that you are in a homogeneous environment :) The only downside is that you need a good network and a image for every type of PC that you will be installing it on.

I love the multicast ghosting. I'll not have frequent use for it, but the great thing will be for new machine setup. You setup a machine the way you want it then use sysprep, and on next start up it will redetect hardware and generate a sid (just like you see when you get a machine from an OEM.) Perfect for me considering the huge number of machines I have.

Beware! XP Installs that are ghosted require 2+ CD's ;)
